Day 1: Arrival in Leh – Acclimatization

• Arrive at Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport (Leh)

• Meet & greet, transfer to hotel

• Rest and acclimatize to high altitude (11,500 ft)

• Evening: Take a short walk around Leh Market (optional)

• Overnight stay in Leh

Day 2: Leh Local Sightseeing

• After breakfast, visit:

  • Shanti Stupa

  • Leh Palace

  • Hall of Fame (war museum)

  • Sankar Gompa

• Optional visit to Magnetic Hill and Gurudwara Pathar Sahib

• Return to hotel for overnight stay

Day 3: Excursion to Nubra Valley OR Pangong Lake (Same-Day)

• Option 1: Nubra Valley Day Trip via Khardung La Pass (highest motorable road – 18,380 ft)
    • Visit Diskit Monastery, Hunder Sand Dunes
    • Enjoy Double-humped camel ride (optional)
    • Return to Leh by evening

• Option 2: Pangong Lake Same-Day Trip via Chang La Pass
    • Explore the stunning Pangong Tso (14,000 ft) – Bollywood’s favorite lake
    • Take pictures, relax, and return to Leh by evening

Note: Overnight at Nubra or Pangong available at extra cost

Day 4: Monastery Tour / Leisure Day

• Visit famous monasteries:

  • Thiksey Monastery, Hemis Monastery, Shey Palace

• Optional: River rafting on Zanskar River or local shopping

• Return to Leh and overnight stay

Day 5: Departure from Leh

• Early morning transfer to Leh Airport
